Are you interested in licensing Ellen’s print ready, seamless repeat patterns for your products ?
What does Ellen do as part of her Pattern Design service?
Ellen creates print ready, seamless digital repeat patterns available for licensing to companies looking to add a bold and colourful statement to their end products.
What licensing options does Ellen offer?
Generally, Ellen offers two types of licensing for her repeat patterns. Licensing and Commercial Exclusive Licensing.
License (Non- exclusive) - use of pattern/patterns, within an agreed category (e.g. footwear) for an agreed period of time (Normally this is 12 months plus an added 6 months for production time – 18 months in total). Ellen retains pattern copyright, and pattern may be used in other product categories (e.g. Bedding) by other clients during the agreed period of time.
Commercial Exclusive License - exclusive use of a pattern for an agreed period of time. Ellen retains pattern copyright, and pattern may be used on other products AFTER the agreed period of time has passed.
However, there is always room for discussion so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Ellen to discuss your licensing plan!
